2012 New Year’s Retreat at St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral, Houston

Houston : The St. Thomas Houston MGOCSM graciously invites everyone to the annual 2012 New Year’s Retreat at St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral, Houston, TX. The theme for this year’s retreat is the Book of Revelation and is based on Revelation 2:10, "Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life."
The main speaker for this year's retreat will be Rev. Fr. Zachariah (Diju) Skariah. He is a very passionate and eloquent speaker of our church and is known to communicate with the youth very well. Achen is a great asset to the Church as he continues to lead the youth throughout America. We will also have several deacons and seminarians on hand to help with workshops and lead small groups throughout the retreat.
The retreat will begin on Thursday afternoon (December 29) with registration and end with Holy Qurbana on Sunday (January 1), celebrated by Rev. Fr. Zachariah (Diju) Skariah. This retreat will be filled with discussions, group activities, workshops, songs, games, and most of all fellowship amongst our MGOCSM members across North America.
We kindly request all High School, College, and FOCUS age groups of your respective parish to come and begin the new year with us and renew your commitment to Christ. For more information or registration, please visit this website.
