Dallas St. Mary’s Church, Farmers Brach OCYM distributed 2011 Charity Funds

Dallas St. Mary’s  Church, Farmers Brach OCYM  distributed 2011 Charity Funds  during a simple function held immediately after Holy Qurbana on Christmas Day.Vicar Rev. Fr. Thampan Varghese distributed this year donations. $1000 was donated to the Diocesan charity organization LoveIndeed and $2000 was donated to St Gregorios Daya Bhavan Bangalore.Daya Bhavan is an organization under Mission Society and Mission Board of the Malanaka Orthodox Syrian Church to look after children’s of AIDS patient. In addition the  parish OCYM donated $3000  directly to various applicants from Kerala , India  requested  for education and medical assitance.

The total  fund was raised   by the OCYM members  through various  raffle tickets and talents shows. Through the last 12 years the  OCYM unit of the parish  collected and donated $30,000 plus  amount for various charitable missions of the Church.Vicar Rev. Fr. Thampan Varghese ,OCYM  Secretary Mr. Prince Abraham, OCYM Treasurer Mr.Tiju John  and  OCYM program coordinator  Merin Mathew Coordinated this years programs.
