OVBS Houston held at St. Gregorious Church Houston

 This years OVBS Houston  was held at St. Gregorious Orthodox Church  Houston from July 29th - 31st.There were more than 140 students participated in the program. This years theme for OVBS was " The Teacher is here and is calling for you." ( St. John 11:28)
 
Dn. Jacob Kurian, Seminarian Joel Mathew, Dn Christopher Mathew led the study classes, Sabu Ninan ( St.Thomas Cathedral , Denny  Jacob (St. Gregorious Orthodox Church ) co-ordinated the events  with
volunteers from all three  local churches.
 

The program was divided into praise&worship, icebreakers, Bible class, crafts, sports, bible quiz, group discussions, and a service project for the senior class. The program was educational, spiritual, fun filled, and was a blessing for our kids."
 
"The Orthodox Vacation Bible School ( OVBS) program has been a longstanding educational outreach program of the Malankara Orthodox Church. It provides our younger generation with an opportunity to learn about the basic tenets of the Orthodox Faith through participation in a fun and interactive program that can take place over a series of days.
