St. Gregorios Church, Dallas honors its Graduates
Dallas: St. Gregorios Orthodox Church celebrated the High School Graduates appreciation day on July 4th 2010 after the Holy Qurbana. The Vicar Rev. Fr. Raju M. Daniel presided over the function and gave the presidential message. Mr. Mathew George, the parish secretary welcomed the parishioners and the guests to the function. This year the church has ten high school graduates which is the highest number of graduates in a single year since the establishment of the parish in 1983.
Following are the 2010 graduates. Kristine Zachariah, John Michael Chacko, Priya Mathew, Priya Saji, Jessney Zachariah, Willie Susan George, Christine Varghese, Roy Kurian , Jessica Pathrose, and Ajay Mathew. As a token of appreciation, all the graduated were presented with Plaques from the church. Sunday School principal Mr. Philip Thomas appreciated the efforts of all graduates. Mr. Alex Alexander, the 12th grade Sunday school teacher of the church, Sunday School General Secretary of the South-West diocese and the General Secretary of the Kerala Ecumenical Christian Fellowship of Dallas appreciated and congratulated all the graduates and their parents and friends. He also emphasized the importance of continuing the education with trust in God and continued participation in church affairs for a bright future. Dr. George Samuel a successful business owner also spoke on the occasion.
The graduates appreciated the cooperation and guidance they have received from the church and thanked everyone. Various persons representing MGOCSM also spoke on the occasion. The program concluded with lunch at 2.00PM.

ഫാ.രാജു.എം.ഡാനിയേലിന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയില് ചേര്ന്ന അനുമോദന യോഗത്തില് ഇടവക സെക്രട്ടറി മാത്യു ജോര്ജ് സ്വാഗതം പറഞ്ഞു. തുടര്ന്ന് വിവിധ സംഘടനകളെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ച് ഇടവക സണ്ഡേ സ്കൂള് ഹെഡ്മാസ്റ്റര് ഫിലിപ്പ് തോമസ്, കേരള എക്യൂമെനിക്കല് ക്രിസ്ത്യന് ഫെലോഷിപ്പ് സെക്രട്ടറിയും ഇടവകാംഗവുമായ അലക്സ് അലക്സാണ്ടര്, വ്യവസായപ്രമുഖനും ഇടവകാംഗവുമായ ജോര്ജ് സാമുവേല് തുടങ്ങിയവര് ബിരുദധാരികള്ക്ക് ആശംസകള് നേര്ന്നു.
തുടര്ന്ന് ഹൈസ്ക്കൂള് ബിരുദധാരികളായ അജയ് മാത്യു, കിസ്റ്റീന് വര്ഗീസ്, ക്രിസ്റ്റി സക്കറിയ, ജോണ് ചാക്കോ, ജെസ്സിക്കാ പത്രോസ്, ജെസ്നി സക്കറിയ, പ്രിയങ്ക സജി, പ്രിയ മാത്യു, റോയി കുര്യന്, വില്ലി ജോര്ജ് എന്നിവര്ക്ക് ഇടവക വികാരി പ്രശംസാഫലകം സമ്മാനിച്ചു.
തുടര്ന്ന് ബിരുദധാരികള് ഒരുമിച്ച് കേക്ക് മുറിച്ച് മറ്റ് ഇടവകാംഗങ്ങളുമായി മധുരം പങ്കുവയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഇടവകാംഗമായ മാത്യു വര്ഗീസ് സ്പോണ്സര് ചെയ്ത സദ്യയോടെ പരിപാടി സമാപിച്ചു. ഫാ.രാജു.എം.ഡാനിയേല്, മാത്യു ജോര്ജ്, ചാണ്ടി പുള്ളോലിക്കല് എന്നിവരടങ്ങുന്ന കമ്മറ്റിയാണ് അനുമോദനയോഗത്തിന് മേല്നോട്ടം വഹിച്ചു.
