St. Mary’s Malankara Orthodox Church, Houston to be Inaugurated on October 17th

HOUSTON: One more parish is started in  Houston  under  the diocese of  South-West America. The name of the new church is St. Mary’s Malankara Orthodox Church. Fr. John Geevarghese took charge of the parish  until a vicar is appointed  and  the first service  was on Sunday, September 26, 2010.
The official inauguration of the Parish will be on Sunday, October 17,2010, by the  Diocesan Metropolitan H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebius.

 Program schedule is as follows:

          8.15 AM    - Assemble outside church to welcome Metropolitan.
          8.30 AM    - Morning prayer
          9.30 AM   -  Holy Qurbana
        11.30 AM    - Public Meeting
