Department of Mental Health Updates: Rev Fr.George Paulose (Tampa)

 

 

Dear & Respected Brothers in Christ,

 

May I, first of all, wish you all a Blessed Holy Week from the bottom of my heart. May the Good Lord bless our ministry at all levels at various locations.

 

Ms. Susan Zacharia (Secretary, Department of Counseling) and I would like to share to the summary of the Mental Health Survey that we conducted in 2016.Please review the attachment for your information.

 

We are planning the following this year:

 

Encourage each parish to conduct a mental health workshop this year. We can assist you in coordinating this event and share the resources you need for such workshops. We prefer that you find an Orthodox Speaker in your area for this workshop.

 

Encourage regional Family Conference leaders to include a session on Mental Health on the agenda. We would love to come and do a presentation at no cost to the Family Conference Committee.

 

We welcome your suggestions and recommendations to improve the functioning of this Department.
