Dearly Beloved,

As you are aware of the crisis in Syria and many other countries throughout the Middle East, there is a great number of people suffering and in moments of severe distress. Especially for the nation of Syria, people are fleeing their own country and praying for survival, and the level of persecution they are facing, especially Christians, is unimaginable. It is moments like these, we need to share in the burden and struggle of our brothers and sisters, and turn a helping hand. Our Diocese will be collecting funds to help support the relief efforts in Syria by initiating a charitable project. Please announce this in your respective parishes, and let us work together to make this a considerable collection during this season of giving. The Diocesan Secretary Rev Fr. Dr. Joy Pyngolil   will communicate the details of the organization it will be distributed through along with the information of where and how it shall be sent.
