St. Gregorios Church (Elmhurst, IL) held 8th ‎Nuhro Camp from June 27-30.

The 8th ‎Nuhro Camp was held from June 27-30 at Conference Point Center in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. With 30 energetic campers and many enthusiastic counselors and staff, it was a most blessed time! .Rev. Fr. Christopher Mathew (Youth Minister of the Chicago area) and Dn. Saju Varghese (Youth Minister of the Western Region)  led the classes.

Nuhro (taken from the Syriac word for 'light') is a four day camp for students from 2nd through 8th grade organized by St. Gregorios Church (Elmhurst, IL).Nuhro--meaning 'light' in Syriac--is a four day Sunday School camp for students in Sunday School from 2nd through 8th grade. Since it has been established in 2006, Nuhro has run by members of St. Gregorios Orthodox Church (Elmhust, IL) and has been going strong. All of the counselors and staff are members of the Indian Orthodox Church and share the passion of teaching the younger generations of the Church about the beauty of the Orthodox Faith and sharing the love of Christ.
